Reach Canada will be at the Bronson Centre providing information and legal referrals.
Reach mobilizes a network of more than 200 lawyers, mediators and paralegals in the Ottawa region to assist people with disabilities in dealing with legal issues.
Issues which clients can receive assistance with include wills and power of attorney, insurance and pension claims, labor and employment relations, personal injury, criminal and civil litigation, immigration, human rights, business and family law.
Clients receive up to 3 hours of free, confidential, and personal legal services. Should additional time be required for the case, clients and lawyers will negotiate the terms of representation.

The Annual General Meeting of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa is October 17 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. It is being held in MAC Hall in the Bronson Centre. In addition to reports from the Board of Directors, Samatha McAleese, Ph.D. candidate at Carleton University will be delivering her talk “Identifying & Navigating the Collateral Consequences of Punishment in Ottawa”
